I have always been a person fascinated with fitness, health, and athletics. I have been actively involved in athletics from an early age, participating in sports such as competitive figure skating, varsity soccer, basketball and track in high school, as well as at the Division 1 level on the WSU women's rowing team. Participating in and training for various sports has drawn my interest to the fitness field and I have since transformed my passion into a lifestyle, degree and a career, focused on sharing my knowledge and experience with others to help achieve their health and fitness goals and ignite their own fitness spark.

I have experience in many different types of training, from strength training and plyometrics to pilates and yoga, and everywhere in between. Also, observing and studying in the physical therapy setting has given me experiences that enable me to adapt your training to past or current injuries.

I believe that being healthy not only involves exercise but also nutrition, sleep habits, stress levels, and having smart goals. These things are so important to ones overall fitness and wellbeing and getting fit is the first step on the path towards a healthy lifestyle.

Each client is different and offers a new challenge and opportunity for me to learn and evolve as a person, athlete, and trainer. I look forward to creating a program that keeps you interested, motivated and is effective, fun, safe and unique. I want to create a program that will keep your body guessing every step of the way. Whether your goal is to lose weight, tone up, train for a sport, or just achieve wellness, I'm here for you. No matter what your health and fitness goals may be, as long as you are willing to put in the work, I'll do my part to get you the results you want and improve your health and fitness in an enjoyable, creative setting. I love my job because seeing people improve their fitness levels is such a rewarding experience for me. I truly want to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.

I look forward to meeting with you!

I believe that your quality of life is largely determined by the choices you make. Everything from health to wealth can be obtained and then maintained through sound choices. My job as a Personal Trainer is to give you options and guide you toward making healthier choices. Whether your goals are looking better in a swim suit, training for your favorite sport or just becoming leaner, faster, stronger then you can count on me to get you to where you want to be. My first priority is and always will be making healthier choices a habit so that exercise becomes less of a chore and more of a passion.

A little about myself - I am a Business Administration major specializing in Management Information Systems. I have spent the last 6 years in both AFJROTC and AFROTC programs and greatly look forward to my commission in a couple of years. I have a love for all things fitness related that has evolved over the years. I was an avid runner through High School and have turned my focus toward resistance training in the last 4 years. I am especially interested in compound lifts that build the core and develop strength throughout the entire body. I have always been fascinated with the inner-workings of the human musculoskeletal system and spend a lot of time looking over case studies to gauge the effectiveness of the perpetually changing fitness fads. I will make sure that when you train with me you will see results, fast.

Working out doesn't always have to mean just "pumping the iron", it includes a broad spectrum of the fitness arena including stability, strength, endurance, and flexibility. To become a well-rounded active individual I believe that all four of these categories need to be approached diligently to get the full experience of improving oneself physically and mentally.

I am currently studying Kinesiology at our Washington State University and plan on working on a doctorate in Physical Therapy after my time is up at WSU. From my studies here, I have gained appreciation for using correct form and technique to making gains in any fitness goals. I have also been a committed athlete since I was ten years old and understand on a personal level the importance of making fitness a way of life.

Franklin P. Adams said that, "Health is the thing that makes you feel that now is the best time of the year". Regardless or your level of fitness I look forward to helping you make now the best of the year to get in shape.

All my life I've been a big guy. I grew up playing a bunch of sports like wrestling, soccer, and football. I was basically full grown as a 7th grader and sadly I was obese. When I entered high school I discovered the weight room and began to put in time weight lifting along with whatever sport I was doing at the time. I grew to love being in the gym and the whole atmosphere of self improvement and discipline. The gym for me got rid of all of my anxieties about my body and stresses of the school day, allowing me to just focus on the task at hand. Eventually my body completed it's transformation process and fitness and proper nutrition became a lifestyle for me.

I signed up for a fitness specialist in high school my junior year and by the middle of my senior year of high school I was an American Council of Exercise certified personal trainer. I started out just training with fellow friends and athletes at my high school and doing summer camps for young baseball and soccer players. The summer I graduated high school I enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves and have since been deployed to Afghanistan as an artillery scout attached to Marine Infantry. While deployed I worked with fellow Marines in the gym, both veteran gym rats and beginners wanting to learn the basics. Recently I've put on speed, agility, and core fitness clinics for young athletes ages 12-18.

My favorite part about being involved in training people is the sheer variety of training techniques and programs that are available. I'm a huge believer in constant changes to workouts in order to keep your body and mind sharp. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. It's hard to start making a change in your fitness by yourself let alone nutrition as well. There's so much random knowledge and thought out there and it's easy to get lost. Starting a new fitness and nutritional routine is a learning process, and it's much easier to learn if you have a teacher, someone who's going to be actively interested and invested in your progress and accomplishments. That's the trainer I'll be for you, personally invested in your success and achievement whatever your goal may be.

Fitness and sports have always served as a huge part of my life. I have received a 2nd degree black belt and I have won 3 separate national titles in Tae Kwan do. I have also trained heavily in Muy Thai, Ji Jitsu and boxing and I have won many tournaments in all these events. I was a captain of my high school football team and set several records that are still in place.

I have worked with all types of people when it comes to personal training. I have been a trainer for 3 years now. Previously, I was a trainer at Gold's Gym in Redmond where I worked with a wide variety of body types and had a strong clientele. I have created a profile or workouts fit for any client that is based on the fundamentals of functional fitness.

Throughout my training experience, my primary focus has been working with athletes. However, I have been very successful at helping all types of clients set goals and meet them through a wide variety of training styles. I have attended a fitness training school and there I acquired many training styles and my interest in physical training. This passion is what drove me to attend Washington State University, to attend the athletic training program.

Exercise has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up playing various sports and activities such as basketball, football, baseball, soccer, track and field, hunting and fishing. I was never the most skilled so I had to rely on exercise and training to make up the difference. Growing up I have come to realize that fitness and exercise have a huge impact not only to our physical wellbeing but throughout our day to day lives, so becoming a personal trainer was a very easy decision for me.

As a trainer I like to give you opportunities to help improve in the main components of fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiorespiratory endurance, flexibility and body composition. And it is my job to make an exercise plan that will not only address these components of fitness but do so in a way that keeps things interesting. I plan on doing that by keeping things personal, doing workouts and exercises that you enjoy and also incorporate new techniques and challenges that will enable you to reach your personal goals.

One thing that I have learned when working with people trying to reach fitness goals, there is no better time to start than now! So come in and let's get to work!

The benefits gained from being physically active are enormous. Participating in an exercise program can help decrease stress, increase self-confidence, improve athletic performance, increase the quality of life, and more. I firmly believe that participating in an exercise program is one of the most beneficial things that people can do. As a trainer, I make it a point to understand what my clients want and design programs that are fun and effective. I have a very wide range of exercise knowledge and can work with all kinds of people.

I am a highly active person myself I have many outdoor hobbies. The outdoor activity I enjoy the most is wakeboarding because it is one of the most exciting things you can do and it is an all-around workout. The key element that allows me to pursue all these hobbies is that I train for them so it minimizes risk of injury and I can participate longer before I am exhausted. I strive to help people set and meet goals and help them every step of the way. The confidence people gain from accomplishing exercise specific goals is the reason I enjoy training so much and it its why you should start training with me today!

I have always been active. As a kid, I spent more time playing sports and games more than I spent sleeping. I played and tried everything. I have always been healthy and happy, and I attribute that to my continued physical activity. If you want to be healthy and happy, you need to participate in physical activity, too. Eventually, I ended up focusing on being a miler where I was very successful and eventually got recruited to run for WSU. After "retiring" from running, I began other physical training, and I love it all!

As a Kinesiology major and former WSU Athlete (Track and Field), I have the knowledge and skills to help you accomplish whatever goals you may have. I also have experience helping clients achieve their goals with an Internship in the WSU Athletics  Strength and Conditioning department.Because of my experiences, both competitively and now recreationally, I have a well-rounded knowledge base will help you achieve your goals. Everyone I know is always commenting on how much I exercise and how I can possibly enjoy it that much. Variety and making it fun is key. I can understand why some people see exercise as a hassle, but that is why I became a personal trainer, because opening people's eyes to the great world of fitness is such a rewarding experience. I have obtained knowledge through personal training courses, working as a weight room attendant, and active research. There are new discoveries being made every year on benefits that exercise provides! Prevention of many diseases, injury, muscle atrophy, as well as decreasing stress and boosting endorphins and energy throughout the day, which keep both the body and mind healthy and sharp.

I am studying kinesiology in hopes of becoming a physical therapist, and most of my classes are based around how the body works as a unit, which is an important aspect when reaching toward your goals. Your body and mind love being worked and will thank you for the challenge!

I love being able to figure out how to help people achieve their specific goals, no matter what the goal may be. For health benefits, losing weight, training for an event, or building strength, I am flexible and efficient when it comes to the type of program that is perfect for you as a unique individual. I will inspire and educate you in order to stay motivated and meet your goals. My goal is to help you understand how exercise can greatly improve your overall quality of life. Consistency is the key to success and I will be there to encourage and motivate you every step of the way!

When someone says the word "fitness" most people have many different ideas as to what fitness is. To me fitness is a way of living. I enjoy constantly researching new exercises, ideas, and styles of training. Beyond that, fitness is striving to make your body well balanced as a whole and improving functionality specific to your needs. With my view on fitness not only can I help people achieve their goals but also create workouts that will make a person healthier overall and stronger in ways that will benefit them inside the gym as well as outside. I hope to be able to instill my passion for fitness and exercise into all who train with me.

Throughout my life I have always been very physically active, from working on my family's farm to playing various sports growing up. One of the most notable exercise experiences for me was being captain of my high school football team. I enjoy the opportunities majoring in Kinesiology is currently offering me to learn new information about fitness and the human body every day. My passion for exercise programming (creating workouts) will allow me to create an effective, yet fun exercise program which will help my clients meet their goals. I will be there with you during your training to help you learn, improve your fitness, and to ensure that you are performing exercises with proper form. With my knowledge about exercise and the human body I can help you reach your fitness potential.

Growing up I started my journey of exercise and sports in the 3rd grade. My older brother influenced me to start lifting weights to get ready for pop warner football. I looked up to him because of his knowledge and expertise of weightlifting, in which he became my personal trainer. Going through my first workout in the garage with my brother, I developed a passion for lifting weights because of the physical and mental benefits.I continued to exercise to become a better athlete for football during high school and to maintain a healthy lifestyle. My senior year I was selected as one of the captains for my high school football team. I credit this to my hardwork and dedication to exercsise.

My senior year of high school, I needed community service hours, so I became a personal trainer for the Bellevue High School football team. I was assigned to work out the star linebacker and I enjoyed watching him grow stronger and more athletic after every workout. It felt great to know I helped John become a better athlete because I was right there pushing him to new limits. I knew after being a trainer at Bellevue high school I wanted to guide people on the pathway to a healthy lifestyle. I have further experience from La Fitness as a personal trainer and I had many long term clients. I also have experience in Kettle bells, and Olympic lifting which I believe should be a staple to various programs because of the core, balance and coordination needed for these types of lifts. The countless benefits of exercise are great for everyone from an athlete to an average Joe. I am attending Washington State University to get my degree in Business entrepreneurship. I one day want to open up a gym in Hawaii with my brother.
