Description: This film festival highlights the many aspects of mountain culture throughout the world. The showing at WSU will be made up of several films that vary in lengths from two minutes to full-length feature film productions. The majority of films feature stunning cinematography of adventure based activities such as skiing, climbing, kayaking, base jumping, mountain biking, and more, to highlight the nuances of civilization, and shed light on areas less traveled. This festival is held in the CUB Auditorium. This event is free for WSU students and SRC members with your Cougar Card. WSU University Recreation offers the only free showing of the Banff Mountain Film Festival. If you are an outdoor enthusiast or appreciate adventure films, you won't want to miss this spectacular event!
