National Run at Work Day

What is National Run@Work Day?

University Recreation has partnered the Road Runners Club of America, to promote the 2nd Annual RRCA National Run @ Work Day.  Through this partnership, our organizations are working to promote physical activity and healthy living within our community and around the country.

On September 21, 2007 University Recreation will host a 4 mile (Cougar route) and 1.5 mile (Ferdinand's route) run/walk beginning at the Student Recreation Center.  The event will begin at 12:10 pm at the SRC.  Free parking and admittance to the SRC will be provided to all registered participants from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on the event day.  Water and PowerAde will be waiting for each participant as they cross the finish line.

Special Notes:

  • These routes will not be staffed, and roads and traffic will not be blocked.  Please be safe and obey all regular traffic and pedestrian rules.
  • Free Registration is required for the run, please register below, or return a paper copy to the SRC Service Desk.
  • Admission to the SRC requires a WSU ID card and tell the front desk you're here for the run.
  • Check-in and registration will be taken the day of the event in the SRC Lounge starting at 11:30am.
  • Race starts at 12:10noon
