Washington State University CrossFit is pleased to present our seventh annual functional fitness competition: Palouse Throwdown VII. This year’s competition will be a same-gender partner competition with Rx and Scaled divisions. Additionally, the competition will be taking place during Family Weekend, so feel free to compete with a family member, or encourage them to come watch you compete for the title of Fittest on the Palouse. We are also happy to announce that this year’s Throwdown will be hosting an adaptive division for our adaptive athletes.
Saturday, April 1
- Check In: 8:45 a.m.

Men's Rx Division
If signing up for the Men’s Rx Division, you should be able to complete the following:
- Power Cleans (155)
- Double Unders
- Devil Presses (50)
- Shoulder to Overhead (155)
- Double Kettlebell Clean Thrusters (53)
- Double Kettlebell Swing (53)
- Compete a Snatch/Power Snatch
- Front Squat (155)

Men's Scaled Division
If signing up for the Men’s Scaled Division, you should be able to complete the following:

Does my partner need to register?
Your partner does NOT need to register. They will be asked to sign a risk release and photo waiver on the day of the event. You will be contacted prior to the start of the event via email so we can obtain your partner's name and shirt size.

What time is check in?
Check in will start at 8:45 a.m. and we will have an Athlete Meeting beginning at 9:00 a.m. You are expected to be checked in before the athlete meeting.
Also, please consider that Heat 1 for event 1 will start promptly at 10:00 a.m., so take your warm up time into consideration. Heat assignments will be released a few days after registration closes on October 16.

What is the facility like?
The Chinook Student Center has restrooms and showers on site, including men's, women's, and all gender locker rooms. The closest parking is the WSU library parking structure locate adjacent to the Chinook. This competition will likely span the full day depending on registration numbers, so please bring food, water, etc.

Can friends and family come and watch the competition?
Spectators are able to view the competition without a Chinook membership or fee. Please inform your friends and family to check in at the front desk on the first floor by the main entrance before coming down to the weight room.
