Rugged Coug Race

Rugged Coug Race: April 29

The Rugged Coug Race is an approximately 5k (3.1 mile) obstacle race on the WSU campus. Racers should expect to find physical elements on the course such as a wall scale, tire flips, off-road running, sandbag carries, and more. Community members are welcome along with students, faculty, spouses, or partners.

Eligibility

This event is open to anyone who is 12 years of age or older.

Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. and race heats begin at 9:30 a.m. 

Divisions

Open heats offer obstacles with modification options. Elite heats offer no modifications is recommended for runners who are more competitive.

• Heat 3: 9:40 a.m.

Open 

• Heat 1: 9:45 a.m.
• Heat 2: 9:50 a.m.
• Heat 3: 9:55 a.m.
• Heat 4: 10:00 a.m.
• Heat 5: 10:05 a.m.
• Heat 6: 10:10 a.m.
• Heat 7: 10:15 a.m.
• Heat 8: 10:20 a.m.
